To My Kids At Christmas
When you kids were little I tried so hard to have a good Christmas so you wouldn't be sad to think Santa Clause might think you were bad.
I know you didn't get all you wanted but I even tried to fill up your stocking. You had plastic trucks, trains for you boys I might even sneak in a bigger toy.
The girls might get a doll and a stroller or a few other little toys.
I would go to bed at night and wish that I could give you all the things that you asked Santa to bring. We would wake up at three maybe four, I knew at night I had locked the door. But, when we woke up I looked at your eyes the tree was so full I was even surprised.
Now that you are older I hope you agree I can't put much under the tree. All I can give is a hug + a kiss and tell you how proud I am of my kids.
