We are honored to provide this Book of Memories to the family.

Roger & Debbie Millay
Ralph and Polly were dear friends of ours with their trusty dog Rambo. Roger and I did what we could to help them these last years with things around their home. It was a privilege to know them and a joy to visit and share in their memories of Union and their travels back and forth to Florida. We enjoyed spending time just shooting the breeze with them. They will both be dearly missed for their dry sense of humor and great laughs. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Ralph and my husband, Steve May, were born two weeks apart, and Steve just died three weeks ago. Along with Steve's older brother Chris, the boys grew up together in the summer, and who knows what mischief they got up to! I know that Steve and Chris thought they had the best childhood anyone could have as they spent their summers roaming the hills and brooks of East Union. Ralph and Polly were trusted friends all through the May boys' lives, and they will be dearly missed by those who knew them.

Brian May
Four generations of my family have spent time most summers in a farmhouse up the road from where Ralph and Polly lived in East Union. I have enduring fond memories from my childhood starting in the late 60s and for years after of chats with them about the neighborhood and wider world; I always appreciated their matter-of-fact, down-to-earth view of things and to this day their relationship is a model for me of a good marriage and real friendship. We felt their absence when they moved out of East Union -- like a part of the family had moved away. Godspeed as you journey onward Ralph.
