We think of Audrey, always ready with a humorous quip, often directed in jest at "Red" and wrapped in her evident insights into human foibles. Her innate toughness showed in her insistence that they remain in their cold house during a several day power outage in the depths of winter. She and Warren took turns through the nights keeping their fireplace going.
She worked closely with the builder as they planned their new house. She was a knowledgeable collector of art but never "quite got around" to putting it on display. She was not a display person. She enjoyed her gardens and remarked on the bird, turkey and deer visitors. She and Warren were always an integral part of the Samoset Road neighborhood gatherings, ever ready to add a humorous remark or observation. We miss them both.
