Obituary for Elizabeth Louise Sprague

Elizabeth Louise Sprague, 82, passed away on October 18, 2015 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. She was born September 12, 1933 in Rockland to Everett Ayers and Francis Nason. Elizabeth graduated from high school in Rockland. On September 5, 1952 she married James E. Sprague, Jr. in Rockland, Maine.

She worked in the fishing industry from the time she was 8 years old until 1984. She was a CNA and Med tech from 1980 until 2014. She was considered a workaholic. She loved crocheting and taking care of her family and animals.

She was a past member of the Rebekah’s.

She was predeceased by her parents Everett Ayers and Francis Nason; husband, James E. Sprague, Jr. sisters, Julia Noke and Merline Vose; brothers, William, Robert and Eugene Nason.

She is survived by her daughters Linda Sprague of Waldoboro, Nettie Norwood of Searsmont, and Arnez Woodbury of Waldoboro; sons Elmer Sprague of Augusta and James Sprague of Monroe; Three grandchildren; Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no services held at this time.

Donations may be made in Elizabeth’s name to the Medomak Mobile Home Community Garden, 9 Medomak Mobile Home Cooperative, Waldoboro, Maine 04572.
