We were so sorry to hear about your loss of Dick. Mike and I express our sincere sympathy to you and your family. Know you are in our thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort from the shared memories from family and friends. We have so many great memories of Dick, such as joking about Nascar and Jeff Gordon and Soapbox derby racing with Stacy. I loved to tease him about his hair and how he couldn’t mess it up because “Beck got it combed just right for me”. He will live on in our hearts. When we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. May you take comfort in knowing that you have an angel to watch over you now. Mum, Dick and I went to see Jeff Dunham. Bubba J came out and started talking about Nascar. "Look they are making another left turn." We nearly fell off our seats laughing. To all of our giant family and friends, in Dick's memory, may we continue to make bajillions of left turns. All my love always.

Dick visited my house in NG ME and noticed that I loved salvage metal sculpture. He asked if I had broken any more shovels lately. I gave him 3. The next time Dick arrived, he brought me this Crow. Recently my brother Dale restored it to its original brightness. It graces my front porch in NC. All who visit comment on how clever and fun it is. Thank you Dick. I will cherish it forever.

It was a Tuesday in Florida, flea market day. Dick rushed us out the door. I put $50 in my pocket. The place was packed and fun as always. As we were leaving, we walked by the veggie stand. Yum radishes for $1, but I am out of money. Dick says, "How can you be out of money? You only bought a set of sheets, flip flops, sweater, dress, shirt, crystal pitcher, wall hanging, bracelet, and hair thing. You need to learn to haggle more." Mum whishpers to me. "You know he is right." These are the memories that make me smile today.

As I was having breakfast this morning, I started laughing, remembering a time in FL with Dick. We finished our breakfast, and Dick started to leave to visit friends and neighbors. I asked, "When will you be back?" He said, "When they stop talking." I said, "So you will be back around noon for lunch?!" Dick said, "Jeekers Deb. I hope so."
