I think of you every day and today I found myself back on this site again...why, I'm not sure. Confirming once again that you are listed here...with an obituary, doesn't ease the pain, but yet I continue to come back to this site. I just miss you so much and long to talk to you and feel your warm hug.

BJ was a very dear sister who had deep feelings for any who was suffering (in any of the myriad ways one can suffer) despite the fact that she too may have been suffering worse. She could also genuinely rejoice with any who were rejoicing. May all your special memories of her be a comfort at this time as you reflect upon her life and what gave her the peace she possessed. I have a special sister, we call that sis, "BJ"

She's still my special sister, though she was called away.

I often think about her, and many talks we had

About the things of Heaven ~ the things that made us glad.

Although she knew great sorrow ~ her body wracked with pain,

She lived for her "tomorrow" where there's no loss, but gain.

She lived for things eternal, Her joy's what made her smile.

She didn't fear the future ~ She lived for things worthwhile.

God called her home to Heaven when "time" for her was o'er.

She's reaping life eternal, where death will reign no more.

Although I miss her greatly, I'm glad she's now at rest.

She's numbered with God's "Jewels" ~ to Him she gave her best.

Barbara Jean has been a part of our lives here in Union for nearly 26 years. George was a baby when we moved to Maine. Your family has been a part of my life since I can remember and so I feel like you ARE family and will always cherish those memories I have. We can not think of her without seeing her beautiful smile that reached way past her eyes and the wonderful crinkles at the corners of them. Her smile made each of us feel like we were special to her, and I believe we were. Her love was so far reaching and never ending. We already miss her so much and want you all to know that our hearts just ache for each and every one of you and we are here if you ever need us. I miss her kisses and will treasure forever that last pucker of her lips and the smile she gave me.

Barbara was a very special person, and a special friend. When I met Barbara, sitting next to each other at a baby shower, we became instant friends. Paul and I have fond memories of when we lived in Warren and spent many good times with her and Bob, visiting at each others homes, going out together, and helping each other out. Our hearts go out to all of you at this most difficult time.

Mr. Littlehale and family, So sorry for your loss. I remember her from when Mr. Littlehale was my bus driver, and knew she was a bus driver as well. The times I had seen her she was a very nice lady and always smiling. She could brighten a room when she walked in. She will be greatly missed. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I have the best memories of Barbara. She and Robert along with all the kids came to our house frequently. Barbara and Mama ould visit while Daddy and Bob watched western movies on TV. Us kids always managed to get i remember hiding in the hall closet with Janet. We had the best times together, a carefree childhood with parents who loved us. My love and codolences to Bob, Janet, Joanie, Jeannie, Julie, Jacquie and Robbie. <3

I was blessed to grow up having Mrs. Littlehale and Mr. Littlehale as my bus drivers. On cold winter days she would radio my grandmother on the CB to say she was close so we would not have to wait in the cold too long. This also gave warning to the many big trucks that used this road to slow down because we were on a blind drive. I would visit their home and hang out with their son Rob after school and weekends. Wonderful woman with a big smile that was just contagious. It is warming that she had so much faith in God and His promises for eternity. I'm sure this gave her strength/comfort and continues to give strength/comfort to the family. Love to the family, Anthony Lee

Barbara was a beautiful woman and I remember that she made the best green pepper and pepperoni pizza when I was a kid at her little take-out in Warren. My family and friends visited the little take-out weekly as it was one of my favorite spots. I grew up with Barbara's son Robbie and he is still an amazing friend. Barbara would have been so proud to see him sing at our wedding a few months ago. Barbara raised an incredible family and was truly a giving and nurturing woman. She was very good friends with my parents, Geneva and James Kinney and they visited each other often through the years. I recall her fondness of orange pineapple ice cream and remember sitting on her steps snapping green beans with her for hours. Thoughts and prayers are with you all. I have to tell myself that God needed her and he brought to her to heaven to look out over all of us. We are truly blessed to have known Barbara and she will live on in our hearts and memories each day.
