Obituary for Norman G Stone
Norman G. Stone 85 of Wiscasset Maine, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2019, at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick Maine, surrounded by his loving family.
Norman was the son of Farleigh Stone and Arlene Benner. He was born in Boothbay Harbor, attended local schools and graduated with the Class of 1952. Norman worked for forty years on Squirrel Island as a Carpenter; he renovated numerous cottages and was proud to have been involved with renovating the Squirrel Island Chapel. When he wasn’t doing carpentry he loved spending time with his family, hunting and fishing.
Norman was predeceased by his parents, a sister and a brother.
He is survived by his wife Dawn, daughters, Shannon (David R.) Dulack of Brunswick, Heather and fiancé Jim Hadley of Wiscasset. Grandson, David D. Dulack, and Sister-in-law Toni Benner of Albion.
A private family graveside service will be held.
