Luthera Burton Dawson at 100 sounds like she was a great woman who was ahead of her time and very accomplished. Her obituary in the Portland Press Herald interested me. My name is Mary Burton and my Burton relatives all left Sprucehead, St. George area and moved to the Portland area, where I currently am. I would love to meet with some of the relatives since I'm on a search for my roots. In the 1980's a cousin in Sprucehead said I had a relative from the Revolutionary War that was buried not far away in the Burton Cemetery of Sprucehead or in the woods.
