Obituary for Rebecca May Quintal

Rebecca May Quintal, 76, a resident of Dutch Neck Rd, died Thursday, October 28, 2010 at her residence, after a period of failing health.
She was born in Dry Mills, ME, which is a part of Gray, the daughter of George and Arlene Davis Edwards, and attended Pownal schools.
Rebecca was a self-made woman. She was a long time cook, for nearly 50 years, at the Rockport Diner. She loved dancing and spending time outdoors camping and tending her garden, and above all else caring for her family and tending to their needs.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Penny Quintal

A celebration of Rebecca’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the Hall Funeral Home, 949 Main St. Waldoboro. A service of committal will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, November 14th at the Elmwood Cemetery, Elmwood Road in Pownal. Everyone is invited to attend a gathering at St. Paul's Community Center/Dutch Neck Community Center following the service.
