Obituary for Yvonne M. Pooley
Yvonne M. (Thibodeau) Pooley, age 96, formerly of Waldoboro, passed away April 15, 2019.
She attended school in Brooks and was an active member of the Eastern Star and First Baptist Church of Waldoboro. Yvonne is remembered as enjoying cooking, tending her gardens, and a variety of creative talents such as knitting, crocheting, quilting and sewing, and playing the electric organ.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, David M. Pooley; sons, David A. Pooley, and Lawrence P. Pooley; and her husband Chester E. Pooley to whom she was married to for 64 years, when he passed in 2008.
Yvonne is survived by her sons, Chester E. Pooley Jr., and Philip M. Pooley; grandchildren, Lisa Canavan, Jessica Pooley, Tracie Pooley, Donna Pooley, Aaron Pooley, Amanda Pooley, and Lawrence Pooley; and step-granddaughter, Tiffany Perry; and 16 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Friday, June 7 at 1 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery South, Camden.
