Obituary for Mary D Hallinan
Mary D. Hallinan. 77, of Atlantic Ave, died January 4, 2019 at Safe Haven, St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor, Maine.
Mary was born in West Gardiner Maine, the oldest daughter of Harris Delano and Beatrice Curtis. Mary graduated from Boothbay Harbor High School, Class of 1960, and Westbrook Junior College in Portland in 1962. She married Dennis R. Hallinan in 1962 and together they raised three sons, Richard and wife Lisa. Joel Hallinan and Erin Hallinan. Daughter, Jennifer Marceline and her husband Charlie.
Mary was a bookkeeper and office manager for the family business Hallinan Construction of Boothbay Harbor. She enjoyed bird watching, knitting, crossword puzzles and playing the piano. She was a member of the Boothbay Harbor Congregational Church and Boothbay Region Community Band.
She is survived by two sisters, Carol and husband David Younts of Boothbay Harbor, and Alice and husband Fred Driffmeyer of Centerville, MA., five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and four very special friends; David and Judy Eastwood, Barbara Wilson and Theresa Bryer.
She was predeceased by her parents and sister Sarah.

A Memorial Service will be held at Hall Funeral Home and Tribute Center, 975 Wiscasset Rd., Boothbay, ME, on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.,with a reception immediately following the service.
