Bruce F. Nichols, 51, of Waldoboro, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 8, 2017 at his home. Bruce was born on August 28, 1966 in Medway, Massachusetts to Bruce Nichols and Charlotte Frances Szymamski Nichols.

He grew up in Waldoboro and attended local schools, including Medomak Valley High School.

Bruce worked as a clammer and also fished out of New Bedford, Massachusetts. He loved caring for his animals, he trained race horses in Florida and was a pet lover. Bruce was out-going, helpful and was always there for others.

Bruce is predeceased by his brothers Peter Collins, Chris Nichols and Scott Nichols. He is survived by his wife April Nichols of Waldoboro, daughters Breanna Nichols of Waldoboro, Charlotte Nichols of Warren, mother Charlotte Nichols of Waldoboro, brother Tom Nichols of South China, sister Kelly Nichols of Waldoboro, brother Steve Collins of Waldoboro, and brother Billy Collins of Appleton.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home, 949 Main Street, Waldoboro, Maine.
