Amy E. Cousens, 36, died October 4, 2017 at her home in South Thomaston. Amy was born on March 8, 1981 in Rockport to Dale Witham and Betty Wadsworth.

Amy grew up on Vinalhaven and graduated from Vinalhaven High School in the class of 1999. Amy received her training as a massage therapist inHawaii. She was a licensed Massage Therapist, Trained in Holistic Health Coaching, as well as Reiki. She ran her practice in Rockland and Vinalhaven. Amy had a genuine love for people, she was big-hearted, and always put others first. Amy had friends all over the world, and made friends wherever she traveled. Amy loved dancing, playing with kids, and finding heart shaped objects especially rocks.

Amy is survived by her husband, Alex Cousens of So. Thomaston, ME, Father: Dale Witham of Bremen, ME, Mother: Betty Wadsworth of Vinalhaven, ME, Brothers: Lawrence Wadsworth of Vinalhaven, ME, Bub Wadsworth of Vinalhaven, ME, Sister: Maria Witham of Warren, ME, Mother and Father in law- David and Lorri Cousens of South Thomaston, ME, Brother in Laws- Sam and Andy Cousens of South Thomaston, ME,
as well as several nieces nephews and many friends.

A service to celebrate Amy’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. On October 14th, 2017 at 343 Waterman’s Beach Rd. in So. Thomaston, ME. In Lieu of flowers donations will be received at the celebration of life where a Scholarship Fund will be set up in Amy’s name for a graduating student of Vinalhaven School on the Island of Vinalhaven, Maine.
